All across the United States, there are countless young people who are aspiring to be something great.  Some dream of becoming pilots, or teachers.  Others envision becoming the president, or a great community leader.  By far, though, the most popular dreams and aspirations for any young boy, is to become either a firefighter, or a professional athlete.  Because of the skill and dedication involved in both, very few ever fulfill either dream – much less both of them…

Erron Kinney is blessed and humbled by the opportunity to share his story of how, before he was 25 years old, he was a member of the 1996 National Football Champion Florida Gators, became a star Tight End for the Tennessee Titans, and is an active firefighter with his local fire depart, where he currently serves as a lieutenant.  Every summer, Erron also hosts a youth football camp with several other NFL players where kids from all walks of life come together for great experiences, fun, and learning.

Aside from these great accomplishments, Erron’s greatest success is seen through the happiness and joy of his family – his wife, Julie, and his three children, Ceanna, Elijah, and Trinity.

For many years, Erron, has been sharing his inspirational story with countless students from across the country.  His message is one that challenges students to strive to achieve their dreams and goals, and that no matter how great the challenge is, “not trying” leads to certain failure.

He is also a nationally known speaker with various firefighting associations (including the National Volunteer Fire Council Heart Healthy Firefighter Campaign, the Tennessee State Fire Marshall’s Office Fire Safe Tennessee Campaign, and the Sullivan County Emergency Services Recruitment and Retention Campaign), focusing on health & safety, fire prevention, public safety, and assisting with recruitment and retention of volunteers.

If you are interested in having Erron share at your event, please email your request to info@firehouse88.com and someone will get back to you shortly.

Thanks very much.  We hope that you enjoy looking around!
